You can permanently delete your Echoes account and all of your data at any time. This page explains how, including for people who can't open the app.

The fastest way — in the app

  1. Open Echoes and make sure you're signed in.
  2. Go to Settings (the gear tab).
  3. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are erased right away.

Can't open the app?

Email hello@tryechoes.app from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and erase your data within 30 days — usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently erase:

Voice recordings are already deleted shortly after they're transcribed, so there are none to remove. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Want a copy first? Before deleting, you can export everything from Settings → Export all drafts.

Payment records

If you ever subscribed, our payment processor retains the minimum transaction records required by tax and accounting law. These contain no draft content. Everything else is erased.
