You can permanently delete your Echoes account and all of your data at any time. This page explains how, including for people who can't open the app.
Email hello@tryechoes.app from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and erase your data within 30 days — usually much sooner.
When you delete your account, we permanently erase:
Voice recordings are already deleted shortly after they're transcribed, so there are none to remove. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Want a copy first? Before deleting, you can export everything from Settings → Export all drafts.
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app, you can delete individual drafts — open your library, long-press a draft, and tap Delete. To have specific data erased from our servers while keeping your account, email hello@tryechoes.app from your account's address and tell us what to remove; we'll erase it within 30 days. Your account, sign-in, and remaining drafts stay.
If you ever subscribed, Google Play retains the minimum transaction records required by tax and accounting law. These contain no draft content. Everything else is erased.
